Lenovo announces the latest addition to its portfolio of smartphones: the Lenovo Vibe X, which combines an innovative yet sleek design and intelligent camera performance to offer a vibrant viewing experience.

According to IDC Worldwide Mobile Phone Tracker, the worldwide mobile phone market is forecasted to grow at 7.3% year on year in 2013, with worldwide smartphone shipments expected to surpass 1 billion units for the first time in a single year. The same report also noted that the Philippines is one of the fastest growing smartphone markets worldwide with a market size that hit 2.6M last year and which is expected to reach 3.6M this year. Right now, Lenovo ranks as the third mobile search and buys in the Philippine market, added by Mr. Ngan.
The Lenovo Vibe X smartphone is remarkably thin and unbelievably light. Its slim, featherweight frame measures 6.9mm, just as thin as a pencil. It weighs much less than other smartphones at just 121 grams (0.26 lbs), about the weight of five AA batteries.
It also comes with a premium polycarbonate silver or white body and a laser-engraved 3D tactile finish. Its five-inch 20/20 Vision display1 boasts of a 1920x1080 full HD resolution, an IPS panel for wide-viewing angles and ultra-sharp 440 pixels per inch (PPI). The 20/20 Vision Display sits under a scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen beveled at the edges.
The Lenovo Vibe X packs two advanced cameras that allow users to capture great-looking photos and videos. The front camera offers a higher resolution capacity of five megapixels (MP), and features a wide-angle 84° lens. Its 13MP auto-focus rear camera, on the other hand, comes with an LED flash and features a back-illuminated sensor that’s perfect for capturing sharper images.. It is also equipped with a software editor to help users enhance the facial features of the subject. Users can also use pinch-to-zoom gestures to easily adjust their shots.
